Twyla Arant

Twyla has been a part of the Village Church Community Theater family since 2005 and now joins The Village Church as the Director of Drama Ministries. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Theatre Arts, Twyla has extensive experience in all areas of Theatre Production including: directing and stage management; stage acting and movement; stage voice, solo and choral singing; lighting design; set direction; and costume, props, and makeup design, construction and application.

She has served in many positions with The Village Church Community Theater over the years including Assistant Director, Workshop Instructor, and Lighting Director on productions such as The Magician’s Nephew, A Christmas Carol, The Velveteen Rabbit, It’s A Wonderful Life - the Musical, The Hiding Place, Cotton Patch Gospel, The Shame of Tombstone melodrama dinner theater, Rented Christmas, A Little Princess, The Robe, Carol Burnett Comedy Buffett and Amahl and the Night Visitors – the Christmas opera. In 2016, she marked her 17th regular season production with the Community Theater. She has also been Co-Producer and Technical Director for our Youth Summer Theater Camp since 2012.
